In the spirit of my kids having way cooler stuff than I could ever dream of at their age (on the list: pony rides, on-demand TV, pets, and surfing lessons), they now have their very own song!
Uncle Django, one of Tim's best friends from college, is a for-reals rock star. He just sent us a ditty he wrote called "Got My Eye on You," which was inspired by Isaac's big-brotherly letter to Emi:
Dear Emily M-----,
I am your big brother so I have my eye on you,Emily.
Oh,and I see that you are doing something bad,I'll say,"Stop where you are"!!
My eye is watching you!!!
But....I still love you,Emily M-----.
Be good in school and at home.
And I'f you feel lonely.....come to me so you don't feel as lonely.
