Chronicling the glorious indignities of motherhood since 2005
Julie often reminds people of a dairy cow: so much bigger in person, but what soulful eyes! She brings shame upon her ancestors daily with her unconventional humor, thunderous laugh, and relentless potty mouth. When gripped with existential angst, she enjoys blasting 90’s Britpop and shoegazer music whilst cruising in her Prius down her local stretch of PCH. Julie is a database programmer by trade, but also writes for the Kimchi Mamas, a consortium of women raising Korean American children, and has a parenting column on VaginaCon.
The basic run-down:
Born in Korea, raised in Southern California, laid some eggs in the Bay Area, now in Long Beach. Wife of Tim, mother to Isaac and Emily, computer programmer by trade, just turned 33, is OK with that.
